George Vecsey

Thanks for letting me know about the Durocher book. He was the Dodgers' manager for my first game in 1946 (I was 7) and I still see him coaching 3B for the LA Dodgers in 1962 -- in left field when Frank Howard was up. Leo was no fool He did ream out the Dodgers in 1947, saying the new man was going to make money for them. GV
